11.10.2007 - The World's A Big Place - Live DVD

In January 2007, mesh toured five German cities as headliners for the "elektrisch!" festivals. The gig at Kulturfabrik in Krefeld (near Dusseldorf) brought this extraordinary tour to a successful close and will now be released on DVD. mesh swept along their audience with an energetic performance and an interesting setlist. Songs from the current album "We Collide" alternate with classics such as "People Like Me (With This Gun)". The changeful moods are underlined by video projections in the background, creating an impressive atmosphere, especially for contemplative tracks like "Room With A View". But a mesh concert is always good for simply having a party, which is guaranteed by such powerful songs as "Step By Step" or "This Is What You Wanted". The new live DVD also features extensive bonus material, including backstage and studio footage. The faithful mesh community has been waiting long for such a DVD that holds up the memories of a great evening – and those who never attended a mesh concert are now able to catch up on what they have missed. The first 2000 DVDs will be released as a numbered limited edition, including the whole concert on 2 audio CDs. The price for this limited edition is 19,90 Euro (plus shipping). Currently the artwork gets its final polish, but the tracklisting is set already (see below). Hope to see you all there...

03.05.2007 - DVD news

We have some good news concerning the DVD: The audio-material has just arrived back from the mastering lab. The live footage is also practically finished being edited. The recordings 'all-around' and backstage will be analysed within the next few days. With the exception of one track (Not Prepared), the complete concert at the Kulturfabrik in Krefeld on 27 January will be presented on the DVD. A release date will follow shortly.

02.05.2007 - Festival performance confirmed

mesh will perform at the Amphi-Festivals on Sunday, the 22 July 2007 at the Tanzbrunnen in Cologne. The gig will begin at 4:30 pm and last about 40 minutes.

14.03.2007 - Fan activity: Press releases

Have you always wanted to write a press release for a CD? Now you have got the chance.

For various promotional activities for the following mesh records

Fragile (Extended)
In This Place Forever
The Point At Which It Falls Apart
Fragmente 2

we are looking for texts with the length of between 800 and 2500 characters that describes the CDs for non-fans. Please note that all texts should be preferably timeless and not contain various comparisons with other bands. To all those who feel like contributing such a text, you can send it to info@mesh-fanclub.de until Sunday, 1st April 2007.

In the end, the record label decides which entries will be used as e.g. press releases on iTunes, Musicload and on the fan club homepage.

Of course, everybody gets the chance to win something. The authors of all published releases get a CD signed by mesh of the appropriate album.

09.03.2007 - mesh news March 2007

We are back in the studio at the moment piecing together all the audio tracks of the live show we did in Krefeld for the DVD, the video footage is being edited in Hamburg. The show itself was fantastic and the crowd response was great. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came along to the show (and the other shows of the tour) for making it a memorable night.
At the moment we have not got a firm release date as there is plenty of work to do first, watch this space...

Amsterdam, Ahh... P60 that will be a night we won’t forget in a hurry. If it could go wrong it did at that gig. We had sooo many technical problems that night it even resorted in an impromptu acoustic version of "Can You Mend Hearts?" What a laugh... just goes to show we can do it live if we have to, MTV unplugged... no problem ;-)

Ok, now the apologies... We are really sorry about cancelling a couple of shows during the tour, but both shows were out of our control. One was to do with the promoter and the other due to severe snow weather warnings in that area, we did not want to get our tour bus stuck in a snow drift.

There was also talk of us playing in Warsaw Poland in May, this was never really confirmed and will NOT take place now.

Sorry to anyone who has sent us any letters or packages recently, there has been a mix up at our PO box and none of them had been getting through to us until this week. This has been resolved now. We will reply to everything ASAP.

Thanks again for the support.

Best wishes

Witt, Mechanical Cabaret, Boytronic and Deine Lakaien with rare or exclusive remixes.

4 acts on this double-CD have been chosen to go on a festival-tour through Germany to promote the CD-release. These are the dates:

There are various reasons, one might be looking forward to the festival package: At the elektrisch!-tour, mesh will appear, on the occasion of their 10th anniversary on German stages, with a journey through the past ten years by playing older tracks that one might have missed at the last We Collide shows. It's been a long while, but X-Perience will be back on stage again and present their chart-album Lost In Paradise including the hit-single Return To Paradise. Purwien will also offer, along with his new tracks (Alle Fehler with Joachim Witt amongst others), hits from his repertoire of his former band Second Decay (I Hate Berlin). And Mechanical Cabaret will kick off the festival punctually and make sure that there is an exciting atmosphere!
