Dear mesh fans,

shortly before Christmas mesh graced us once again live at the Krefeld Kulturfabrik and took the chance to present two new songs from their forthcoming album Automation Baby. Those who were there will probably be looking even more forward to the new year and it's going to be very exciting. Mark and Rich have prepared some interesting things.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Recharge your batteries over the holidays for the eventful mesh year 2013.

26.11.2012 The new mesh single is called "Born To Lie"

Born To Lie, the new mesh single, is to be released January 18 via Dependent in Europe and was produced once again by Olaf Wollschläger, in whose studio the band put the finishing touches on.

Our first update on the new album Automation Baby was full of surprises and here's one more for you: mesh had a cameraman accompany them on their recent trip to Olaf Wollschläger's studio, where they put the finishing touches on their new single. We present you here with the resulting video clip, which spares no detail. Enjoy!

29.09.2012 mesh are working on their new album titled "Automation Baby"

mesh are reporting back. The Bristol two-piece cult Synth Pop outfit announces their new album under the ominous title Automation Baby. The band had entered studio mode for a while, and fans had the opportunity to hear a few glimpses of the new material in form of a couple of Making Of clips on YouTube. If those are representative of the new albums sound, then the long player will feature an intriguing and crunchy sound update accompanied by the fantastic vocals of Mark Hockings.

Projected album release date is mid February, while a single is planned a month earlier. Apparently the band will have a few surprises up their sleeves, that will be presented before the album release. We admit we are damn curious and will stay tuned for further news... and the birth of that Automation Baby.

25.09.2012 Pluswelt Festival X

Flyer

It will be almost exactly 10 years ago, that the Pluswelt festival opened its doors: on 7 December 2002 the first Pluswelt festival in Krefeld saw the light of day. For the 10th anniversary, Pluswelt Promotion in Hamburg pulls out all the stops to come up with a lineup which has it all.

The headliners then and now are no less than mesh. The Brits haven't played more often in other location than in the Kulturfabrik. Mark Hockings and Richard Silverthorn have chosen exactly that place to present their new single exclusively on 22 December 2012. This one and other new tracks from their forthcoming album, which will be released in February 2013, will be part of their new, 90-minute set in Krefeld. The old hits will be played also.

De/Vision are also old hands at the Pluswelt festivals. After the kick start of the tour for their 13th album Rockets And Swords in Duisburg in early September, Steffen Keth and Thomas Adam want to come back to the region again. This time the Berliner-by-choice boast a set that has it all. Certainly the band – with the addition of a new drummer, cannot play all the hits from their almost 25-year career, but it will definitely be a pleasure for all synth-pop freaks!

The following band though, is completely new at Pluswelt. De/Vision already did a few remixes for them, and mesh has been their special guests in Barcelona and Madrid: OBK. OBK have been in the business since the early 90s and the pioneers of electro-pop in Spain. Their first single already sold 400,000 copies in 1991, and their latest compilation of new and old tracks Nuevas versiones Singles 1991-2011 jumped to number 1 on the Spanish sales charts. On that weekend, it will be their first performance on a German stage.

Local heroes Microclocks will take the stage this time. Electronic-driving rhythms are the heart of the modern and yet profound electro-rock from the band from North Rhine-Westphalia. The single Anybody Out There? gained notable successes over the past year in addition to their debut-album Opions Are On Sale. Fans should be very excited.

The festival will be opened by no other than Vic Anselmo. Rarely has an Eastern European female artist wowed as much as the lady from Latvia who supported Deine Lakaien and enchanted audiences with her diverse and touching voice. With fantastic ballads Vic Anselmo enthuses at the piano right from the first note. Her latest album In My Fragile was released in August Europe-wide.

Tickets for the 10th Pluswelt festival can be ordered at Poponaut and Headlineconcerts.

13.04.2012 New 2012 Ltd Edition T-Shirt available now

Due to the overwhelming response to the Wearing a mesh shirt day of the mesh fans Facebook community, Mark and Rich have designed a limited edition t-shirt for mesh fans. You can be part of the new shirts. How? Read for yourself what the guys are planning:

At the end of march some of our fans on Facebook organised a ‘Wear a Mesh Shirt‘ day and even took the time to create a video.

We were moved by the many pictures that were sent to both us and the Facebook group, and it got us thinking as to how we could do something to express our thanks for having such a wonderful fan base.

We have always considered that mesh is more than just us, the band members. Our fans are just as integral to the mesh story.

As you are all obviously fond of your mesh shirts, we came up with an idea: a personalised limited edition mesh T-Shirt! The mesh logo on this shirt will contain all the names of mesh fans who subscribe to it. Then when the next shirt day comes around, you can wear a mesh T-Shirt with your name on it.

To order yours head on over to the mesh Store.
